How We Work
Every job starts with a visit. We look at the tree, talk about what you want and point out anything we notice that you might not have, like a crack in a main fork or a dead section high in the crown. Then you get a written price, and the price you see is the price you pay.
On the day, we protect what's around the tree first: lawns, beds, fences, roofs and cars. Climbers use ropes rather than spikes on trees that are staying, and heavy pieces are lowered instead of dropped. When we're done, we rake, blow off hard surfaces and walk the property with you.
We'd rather save a tree than cut it down. If pruning, cabling or treatment will keep a tree healthy and safe for a fair price, we'll tell you, even though removal would be a bigger job for us.
Our advice for hiring any tree company, us included: make sure they're on Longmont's licensed tree contractor list, then get the work and price in writing, including who's hauling off the brush. It saves everybody an awkward conversation when the truck's ready to leave.
